What stays on your Mac

InputPin reads the identifiers and display names of enabled keyboard input sources and the current input source. It checks whether secure input is active, so it can pause restoration. Your selected input source and pinning preference are stored locally.

No collection or tracking

The app does not collect keystrokes, typed text, passwords, account information, analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash reports for its developers. It has no account system, ads, or third-party SDKs. It sends no app data to a server. A temporary mouse-only event monitor dismisses an open panel; no global keyboard events are monitored.

Your controls

Pause pinning at any time. Launch at login is optional; turn it off before uninstalling. Local preferences remain until you delete the app's preferences or sandbox container. There is no developer-held personal data to delete.

Links and distribution

Opening a GitHub, support, or privacy link uses your browser. Those websites have their own privacy policies. Apple and GitHub may process information associated with their distribution services independently of InputPin.
